These terms govern your use of emergencyboilerrepairlondon.uk (the “Website”) and the introduction service we provide. By using the Website or making an enquiry, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
Emergency Boiler Repair London is a trading name of [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered in England and Wales (company number [NUMBER], registered office [ADDRESS]). We are an introduction service. We connect customers with independent, vetted, Gas Safe registered engineers and firms (“Engineers”) who carry out boiler repair, servicing, installation and related heating work. We are not ourselves the installer or repairer of your appliance unless expressly stated in writing.
When an Engineer attends your property and you accept their quotation, the contract for the works is between you and that Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for the performance and quality of the work, for holding valid Gas Safe registration and insurance, and for complying with all applicable regulations. We vet Engineers before admitting them to our network and require them to maintain Gas Safe registration and public liability insurance, and we encourage you to check the attending Engineer’s Gas Safe ID card, which can be verified free at gassaferegister.co.uk.
Prices shown on the Website are typical ranges for guidance only and do not constitute an offer. A fixed quotation is provided by the Engineer after on-site diagnosis and before any chargeable work begins, and no chargeable work should proceed without your agreement to that quotation. Any out-of-hours premium will be disclosed before an Engineer is dispatched. Payment for works is made as agreed with the Engineer, and any invoice queries should be raised promptly with us or the Engineer.
Completed repairs are covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee provided through our Engineer network, confirmed in writing on your job record. The guarantee covers the recurrence of the repaired fault and does not cover unrelated faults, damage caused by misuse, or systems in a condition that makes reliable repair impossible, which the Engineer will identify at the time. Manufacturer warranties on new boilers and parts are provided by the manufacturer subject to their terms, including annual servicing requirements. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in this section.
Estimated response and arrival times (including emergency response estimates) are given in good faith but depend on traffic, weather, demand and engineer availability, and are not guaranteed. You agree to provide safe access to the property and appliance at the agreed time. Where you supply tenant details for access, you confirm you are entitled to share them for that purpose.
If an Engineer identifies a gas appliance as At Risk or Immediately Dangerous under industry procedures, they are obliged to make it safe, which may include disconnecting it with your knowledge. Neither we nor the Engineer will reconnect an appliance that is unsafe to use. If you smell gas, call the National Gas Emergency line free on 0800 111 999 before contacting us.
Content on the Website, including guides, prices and fault information, is provided for general information only and is not a substitute for an on-site professional diagnosis. Do not attempt work on gas appliances yourself; gas work may only be carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. While we work to keep content accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is error-free. All content, branding and design on the Website belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that: because the contract for works is between you and the Engineer, the Engineer is responsible for the works, and our liability in connection with the introduction service and the Website is limited to [£AMOUNT / the fees paid to us, if any]. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control.
We want to know when something has gone wrong. Complaints about an Engineer’s work or any aspect of our service can be raised at [EMAIL] or on 020 [NUMBER], and we will acknowledge within [2] working days and work with you and the Engineer to resolve the matter promptly.
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the date of your enquiry applies. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
